Research the training opportunities offered by other companies

Make sure they meet the following criteria:-  
  • are included on the Official Register of Driving Instructor Training (ORDIT)
  • are FENTO (Further Education National Training Organisation) endorsed
 
  • provide a training pack and unlimited tuition
  
  • offer 1:1 tuition throughout for Parts 2 & 3 in car training
 
  • train you up to exam dates
 
  • undertake all training in a training establishment vehicle
  
  • offer both pre-payment and pay as you train schemes
  
  • have their own driving school
  
  • have a FREE PHONE hotline (staffed 11 hours per day) for Learner enquiries
  
  • a lease car at a low rate if required when qualified 
  
  • a guaranteed position with the training company's own Driving School NOT with an associated school
  

If you find and prefer another training establishment that offers all the above and it is not Countywide then we offer you success in your training and future career as an Approved Driving Instructor.

However if you cannot find a company that offers all the above then contact us.

An informal and individual meeting will be offered, affording you the opportunity to ask questions and find out how easy it will be for you to fund your training. At no stage during this meeting will anyone ask you to make a decision, sign an agreement or part with money.
